George L's low capacitance Co-ax Cable with special anti-stat will enhance your sound no matter what the size of your total rig happens to be. No stripping or soldering is required. Just cut the cable, select the plug desired and tighten it down. |

If you take a look at the cross sectional view you can see a braided shield with a dielectric and a center conductor. Simply put this is absolutely the best method for conducting audio as well as video signal. Benefits include, almost no signal radiation ingress or egress which is very handy when gigging live. Live gigs leave you at the mercy of any one who maybe transmitting RF around you (cell phones, radio, etc..). |
| George L cable is your first and best defense against extraneous noises from these types of interference. In our opinion, George L cable delivers the best sonic results for guitarists especially those using sensitive tube amplifiers and low output pickups. You can hear the improvement when switching from standard signal cables. |
| Another major benefit with this cable system is the easy to make connectors. No soldering needed. The cable connections are made through a simple but innovative connector jack. Inside the connector jack is a needle pin protruding upward from the center of the jack. When you cut the George L cable you simply feed it directly into the jack allowing the center conductor needle pin contact with the center section of the cable. That is the hot connection. |
| When the mechanical securing is done by tightening the set screw on the side of the straight jack, your ground connection is made. For right angle connectors a twist cap is used instead of a set screw. The resulting cable and jack connections are greatly improved mechanically. Solder connectors are much less forgiving where as the needle pin has the ability to move without breaking. For example, yanking the cable to unplug the jack is no problem. the set screw is a solid mechanical connection. In time even the best cable and connectors will wear or can be subject to breakage. If this occurs simply cut off the bad portion of cable and re-establish your connector contact. You can do this on the fly, at a gig or where ever you are without having to use a soldering iron.
